Crisis and suffering provide opportunities to awaken extraordinary capacities that otherwise might lie dormant, unknown and untapped. AEDP is about experientially making the most of these opportunities for both healing and transformation.

Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT) is a somatically-oriented Energy Psychology approach to healing trauma (unconscious and otherwise) that centers around the body’s wisdom and potential for releasing stored traumatic resonance. AIT seeks to empower people to understand, integrate, and resolve that which has caused them distress in a safe, gentle, deep, and powerful way so that they can experience everlasting optimal health in the domains of mind, body, and spirit.

Our early relationships with caregivers set the stage for life long relationships. These patterns of relating are referred to as Attachment Styles. If you struggle to find, and stay in healthy partnerships, it is possible that you are struggling with an insecure style of attaching.

When words alone are not enough to convey a feeling, sensation, or experience, we can benefit from expressing ourselves non-verbally. The process of creating (even more than the product of creating) can offer a glimpse into unconscious factors of healing and setback, metaphors for integrating change, fresh perspective on old patterns, and opportunities to be seen by another.

EMDR refers to a specific and highly effective type of therapeutic intervention aimed at processing information and reducing emotional suffering. The use of bi-lateral stimulation used in EMDR has been shown to be a powerful aid in the reduction of symptoms associated with PTSD, anxiety and depression.

In the past, we have offered all-gender Group Therapy, including curriculum from Brené Brown’s Shame Resiliency model. The pandemic has put this on hold for now, and we hope to safely offer Groups facilitated by our team again in the future.

Internal Family Systems is a powerfully transformative, evidence-based model of psychotherapy. We believe the mind is naturally multiple and that is a good thing. Our inner parts contain valuable qualities and our core Self knows how to heal, allowing us to become integrated and whole. In IFS all parts are welcome.

The SE™ approach is a body-oriented therapeutic model approach releases traumatic shock, which is key to transforming PTSD and the wounds of emotional and early developmental attachment trauma. It offers a framework to assess where a person is “stuck” in the fight, flight or freeze responses and provides clinical tools to resolve these fixated physiological states.

We have Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialists (LCAS) on our team to support those in early recovery from substance use, those who want to maintain their long-term sobriety, explore root causes of substance dependence, and learn practical tools for sustained Relapse Prevention. We support those who relate to the traditional 12-Step model of Recovery as well as those who are interested in Harm Reduction.

A trauma-informed therapist carefully hears your story, listening for impacts and connections from the past, and connecting them to present day stuck points in a way that can create powerful changes in how you experience yourself in your life, and in the world around you.

A trauma informed therapist also provides a powerful educational experience that is tailored to a client's specific life experience to help them identify triggers and coping strategies, while also working to decrease activation around traumatic experiences, in order to have safe and healthy connection to self and others.
